Payments
How much do the treatments cost?
Dental rates are set every year by the Dutch Care Authoroties (NZa). You can have an accurate overview of the cost per treatment on the site of independer.
The dental rates of 2020 should be the same at every dentist. However, you may find that dentists charge different rates for a treatment. This will be due to the addition of extra treatment procedures. In our practice we keep your personal financial situation in mind and create the correct treatment plan within your means.
Who sends out the invoices?
To allow us to focus 100% on your care, we have outsourced our payment administration to Infomedics. You will receive clear and transparent invoices from Infomedics with all the necessary information available at one glance.
What does this mean for me? Should I pay direct, or will my invoice be forwarded to my insurance company?
If you have chosen a dental care package in your insurance policy, Infomedics will automatically contact the insurance company we have on record for you. If you have full coverage, you won’t receive an invoice from Infomedics. In this case, you will find the declaration back in your insurance overview.
In case of partly coverage, Infomedics will send you the invoice. This invoice will include an overview where at one glance you will see what is covered by your insurance and when applicable what you need to pay. This level of coverage depends on your insurance policy. You are expected to pay any amount not covered by the insurance to Infomedics.
When there is no coverage on the invoice you should pay the whole amount directly to Infomedics.
I don’t agree on the coverage of the insurance. What can I do?
Any questions regarding coverage please contact your insurance company directly.
